Dreaming of spring – what I’m eyeing at Target to buy for warmer weather.
If you need me, I’ll be lighting a candle and clicking ‘add to cart’ while it snows sideways outside. There is something wildly offensive about a blizzard when you’re mentally in tulip season… so naturally, I coped the only way I know how: a Target refresh.
The good news? You don’t need a full reno or a patio reveal to shift your home into warm-weather mode. A few intentional swaps, lighter textures, soft color, coastal touches, and suddenly the mood changes. Here’s what I’m loving for hosting, guest room refreshes, and bringing spring inside, regardless of the temperature outside.
Setting the Table

This platter looks like something you’d find in a charming boutique. The soft botanical detailing gives it that expensive look for less.
Stoneware Aralia Appetizer Plates Hand-Painted Pink

The sweetest little pink moment. These are perfect for Easter hosting, but honestly? I’d use them all spring long for desserts and apps.
Woven Serena and Lily Inspired Basket

If you love that relaxed coastal aesthetic, this basket is it. It feels very Serena & Lily-inspired (without the price tag), airy, textural, unfussy. Use it for bread when hosting, rolled napkins, or even on a console with mail and keys. Texture is the fastest way to warm up a space after winter.
Woven Portable Cordless Table Light

I am obsessed with cordless lighting for hosting. These are perfect for setting the mood on a dining table, kitchen island, or even a three-season porch once the temps cooperate.
Revamping the Guestroom

This one has my heart. The shell detail feels coastal without being tacky. If you’re craving that Nantucket-in-June energy while stuck in February, this is for you.

I love swapping out bedding for something new and fresh when hosting family and friends.
HOW I’M REFRESHING MY SPACE THIS WEEK
If you’re staring at snow right now too, here’s your gentle nudge:
- Swap one lamp for something lighter.
- Add one colorful serving piece to your table.
- Refresh your guest bedding before your next visitors arrive.
- Bring in flowers from your local Trader Joe’s.
You don’t need a full overhaul. Just small shifts that make your home feel brighter, softer, and ready for longer days.
Spring will show up eventually. In the meantime, we’re creating it inside.
